GIVEAWAY

HELP ME SPREAD THE WORD! Please share and enter.
Another "giveaway" to share my appreciation!

Bear's Shadow...Literary Companion...Science Theme (Shadows)

A favorite story with a wonderful theme for exploring SHADOWS.
So many facts about shadows just from reading the story.
I love using this right around Groundhog Day for a little science integrated into a literature experience,

PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS AGAIN. THERE WERE ERRORS ON PAGE 5 AND 6.
The packet begins with sequencing the events in the story, cause and effect related to facts about shadows, and writing about ways bear tried to lose his shadow.

Those activities are followed by connection the Facts to the story and then two experiments.  One uses the sun as a light source and the other a flashlight.
Students reflect on the experiences.
